WiMAX Telecom brings its proven know-how to the WiMax World Congress in Vienna
Vienna, 22 May 2006 – WiMAX Telecom AG, the only pan European provider of WiMax services and the sole active Austrian WiMax operator will give an insight on its field proven know-how at the WiMax World Congress in Vienna. It will also enable the participants of the congress to actively use the latest WiMax technology.
WiMAX Telecom Group will support the WiMax World Congress 2006 in Vienna as a main partner. The latest nomadic WiMax technology allowing for outdoor and indoor use will be available thanks to WiMAX Telecom throughout the exhibition area. All attendees can test and use free voice over IP at the WiMAX Telecom booth nr. 408 and in parts of the expo hall. WiMAX Telecom also offers free wireless internet access in all conference rooms.
Focus on operational systems
Actively serving several thousand clients in Austria and in Slovakia, WiMAX Telecom wants to share its know-how and real life experience with the visitors of this important event around the broadband wireless access. Chairman and CEO of WiMAX Telecom Group, Mr. Dov Bar-Gera, will hold a speech on the conference about «Can a WiMax only model survive?», starting Wednesday, 24. May 2006, 14:30 h. Panelist Mr. Peter Ziegelwanger, CTO of WiMAX Telecom Group, will present his view on «Municipal projects in central and western Europe», also starting Wednesday, 24. May 2006, 14:30 h.
In spite of being a network operator and not an equipment manufacturer, WiMAX Telecom decided to participate in the exhibition with the goal to present to interested visitors its own insight on how the WiMax technology is working with real customers emphasizing the clear advantages of the new technology. The professional staff of the company will be available to answer questions.
All of Europe in its sights
With branches in Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and Croatia, WiMAX Telecom is Europes only independent, multinational provider of WiMax services. It holds national licences in Austria and Slovakia, where its active networks already serve several thousand customers, and has licenses in key regions of Croatia, where the company plans to deploy its network at the end of 2006.
